Is this a licensed family child care program?
Yes, I have obtained a Certificate of Registration by meeting all the requirements to operate according to the code of Maryland Regulations.
What are your hours?
We are open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
What is your tuition?
The weekly tuition is $180.
How is billing handled?
The summer tuition is paid in bi weekly installments every other Friday The payment is made by auto draft on June 7, 2024, June 21, July 5, July 19, and August.
Is a deposit required?
No.
Are there any additional fees, such as an annual enrollment, set up, or supply fees?
Yes. $150 supply fee for their personal camera, and photo printing. $100 field trip fee covers weekly *Sky Zone field trip and a special end of summer fiend trip. A total of $250 is due at the time of registration. The deadline to register is June 1, 2024. *Please supply SkySocks or add $8 to the registration fee to purchase.
*Is there a fee for late payments?
Yes. An additional fee for $20 is charged the Sunday after payment is due. The following Sunday an another $20 is charged. Payment must be made in full before drop off Monday.
Are Meals Included?
Yes, a morning snack is served at 9:30, lunch at 12:30 pm, and afternoon snack at 2:00 pm.
What do I (the parent) provide?
Please provide a change of clothes, including socks, a jacket, shoes that stay on feet (no flip-flops please), a rain jacket, and any thing else your child may need.
How often do the children enjoy the outdoors?
We go outside everyday for free play at the park. We also enjoy a nature walks and outdoor photography.
What days Is Ms. Shanelle’s Closed?
July 5- July 5: Independence Day
September 2: Labor Day
November 28- November 29: Thanksgiving
December 24 - January 1: Christmas/ New Year
Do parents still have to pay during holidays, vacations, and sick days?
Yes. Tuition covers your child’s spot, and is due in full regardless of attendance.
Is this a smoke free home?
Yes.
Are there any pets in the home?
No.
How much time is spent watching television?
Up to 30 minutes per week of educational program may be played.
Does ms. Shanelle celebrate birthdays?
Yes! Each child will get a home baked cake and balloons on their birthday, or the Friday before if their special day is on the weekend. We love birthdays!
Is there a fee for late pick ups?
Yes.
1- 10 minutes- $15
11-20 minutes- $30
21-30 minutes- $50
30+ minutes- $100
Does the provider and all staff have up to date First Aid/ CPR certifications?
Yes.
